Insulating Concrete Formwork (ICF) is a highly efficient building system that combines the innate strength of concrete with the superior thermal properties of rigid insulation. Large, interlocking hollow blocks or panels made of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) are stacked to form the shape of the building’s walls. Steel reinforcement is added, and the core is then filled with ready-mixed concrete.
