Eligibility Criteria

Who Is Eligible?

Eligibility criteria vary slightly depending on the type of upgrade you are applying for.

Home Ownership

You must own your home and it must have been built and occupied before 2011 to qualify for insulation and heating control grants.

Renewable Systems

Homes built and occupied before 2021 may be eligible for grants covering heat pumps, solar water heating, and solar electricity (PV).

Heat Pump Ready

Your home must meet specific heat retention standards (low heat loss) before a heat pump grant can be approved.
